The 2026 Family Day of Service Project!

The United Way Family Day of Service brings together parents, children, friends, and neighbors to serve side by side in support of local families. Together, we will assemble Family Support Kits filled with essential hygiene, cleaning, and comfort items for households in our community. This is more than a volunteer event. It is an opportunity to model generosity for our children, strengthen connections across generations, and ensure families have access to basic supplies they need to thrive.
Your donation helps us:
- Purchase essential supplies for a volunteer-led service project
- Support partner organizations addressing critical community needs
- Provide materials and resources for youth, families, and vulnerable populations
- Strengthen community engagement across Charlottesville and Albemarle
